I find yoga is an excellent way to build strength and flexibility. It differs from other forms of exercise such as weight training or stretching, because it has the added benefit of good breathing techniques. Breathing with awareness while doing yoga, teaches your body to keep breathing while doing hard things. We can apply this to anything difficult in life. I enjoy doing yoga with Margot as she always has lots energy and enthusiasm. She brings something new to each class such as proper alignment for a particular pose and reminds us to express our gratitude daily.
